  • Assemble and test electromechanical components and wire harnesses for DOD/aerospace applications.
  • Read/interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform inspections, electrical tests, and functional checks on harness assemblies.
  • Execute soldering, crimping, connector mating, wire routing, and termination tasks.
  • Troubleshoot harness and component issues and support corrective actions.
  • Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 and applicable MIL-STD workmanship standards.
  • Maintain organized work areas, proper tool use, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in electromechanical assembly, wire harness assembly, or related manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with copper wire, multi-conductor cables, and complex harness assemblies.
  • Familiarity with DOD, aerospace, or MIL-SPEC wiring requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings
  • Proficiency with crimping, soldering, wire termination
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 (highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical continuity, polarity, shielding, grounding, and cable routing best practices.
  • Knowledge of basic test equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, hipot testers preferred).
  • High attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to follow strict documentation and process controls.
  • Ability to work independently and meet production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with repetitive manual tasks and fine-motor work.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
