Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chemical / Production Technician to join a manufacturing facility in Shrewsbury, MA. This position involves operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, including pickling systems, scrubbers, and filters, while following established safety and operating procedures. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, setting up and adjusting equipment controls, monitoring chemical reactions, maintaining production logs, collecting and testing product samples, and ensuring products meet quality specifications. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining safe operating conditions and supporting daily production requirements.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing or chemical processing experience. Must possess basic math and reading skills, the ability to operate measuring equipment such as micrometers, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must have sufficient vision to inspect chemical reactions, be able to wear a respirator and protective clothing, and be willing to work overtime as needed. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Grade 3 Industrial Wastewater License are required. Previous hazardous waste experience or certifications in HAZWOPER, RCRA, or DOT regulations are a plus. Must be able to successfully complete a medical physical, drug screening, and background check.
