  • Set up and perform machining operations on parts from start to finish, including work under Engineering guidance.
  • Operate a variety of equipment such as lathes, milling machines, CNCs, grinders, presses, cutters, threaders, and polishing wheels.
  • Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, coolants, and lubricants.
  • Read and interpret drawings, instructions, specification sheets, and process documentation.
  • Use precision measurement tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain high productivity and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Report equipment, process, safety, or product issues promptly to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Maintain work records, report discrepancies, and perform training when required.

Requirements

  • Passing Machinist Aptitude Exam 
  • Proficiency in all machining functions on all equipment, with specialized knowledge in manual machining.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and process instructions.
  • Expertise in precision measurement and quality inspection.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25lbs, and perform repetitive motions
  • Visual acuity required for close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
