Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts and assemblies. Inspect first-article and in-process parts on the shop floor. Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, and optical equipment. Review engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T requirements. Verify material certifications and related quality documentation. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Work closely with machinists and quality staff to identify and resolve process issues. Assist with calibration and basic maintenance of inspection equipment
