Build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers Build optical and fiber assemblies Reading blueprints or schematics Test and measurement Troubleshooting Repair. Few skills that would be helpful: Basic computer functionality. Ability to communicate in English, even if not primary language. Microscope experience. Soldering experience. Small part assembly. Ability to follow and understand assembly drawings/procedures.  None of these need to be necessarily proficient, just general experience.
